Molemen & Mammoth-flu

You’re going to have to take my word for this but today I did a great hour long interview with noisms of Monsters & Manuals fame. We talked about many & varied topics, including his Kickstarter for the second edition of Yoon-Suin: The Purple Land, which ends in less than a day.

We also covered late 19th Century adventure fiction, Bishop Porkland & the Land of the Prince Bishops (and other English regions ripe for conversion into D&D settings), viruses locked in permafrost, the Butterfly Ball (and the Grasshopper Feast), the art of Sidney Sime, cults that live above shops, various Flash Gordonesqe human-animal hybrids (with top monster potential going to seagull-men, cranefly-men [and their leatherjacketed offspring], and harvestmen-men). We discussed whether the OSR supergroup of McGrogan, Ryder, Stuart & McDowall would ever reform; and, of course, we talked about progressive jazz. Which was nice.

Then we discussed, at some length, the follow-up (of sorts) to Yoon-Suin, The Great North, which should hit Kickstarter within the next 12 months (you heard it here first).

And then… my computer crashed and lost the recording. Still, it was a fun chat.

Also, did I mention that his Kickstarter for the second edition of Yoon-Suin: The Purple Land ends in less than a day?
