[This blog post is out of date and lacking its screenshots - sorry! I will update it as soon as I am able...]
A while ago I wrote a post on how to back a Kickstarter campaign. The Kickstarter website is far from intuitive, and this stuff is confusing.
I’ve now discovered that it’s even harder to change your pledge, for example to include additional add-ons. And so here is a quick how-to for anyone wanting to do so.
Firstly, you will need to be logged in to to Kickstarter. If you go to the Kickstarter website and see the words “Log in” in the top right-hand corner of the screen, as in this example, then click on them and fill in your details:

Once you are logged in, go to the page of the campaign you’ve backed (in this case the page for King Arthur vs Devil Kitty). Close to the top of the page you should see a green button that reads “Manage your pledge”. Click this:

You will be taken to a page which shows you all the details of your pledge. Scroll down a little and click on the “Change your pledge” button:

The next page will contain a list of all of the main rewards (but not the add-on rewards). You will need to select a reward on this page, and click on the “Pledge” button for that reward, before Kickstarter will let you proceed to choose add-ons.

Now you get to to select add-ons. Scroll down the screen and you will see a long list of things which you can add on to your pledge. Click on as many “Add” buttons as you want, and when you’re ready to proceed then click on “Continue”.

Finally, you will be presented with a summary of your pledge and all of the items on it. Click on “Confirm changes” to complete the process:
